Dr.Chiang is a professor of
Mechanical Engineering at the National Ping-Tung University of Science
and Technology, in Ping-Tung county, Taiwan. He obtained his M.S. and
Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at
Austin. Dr. Chiang's major research areas include:
Structured/unstructured grid generation methods, High speed gases flow
(with equilibrium/non equilibrium chemical reactions of the gases),
Boundary element method (panel method), Optimization methods, Low speed
flow with Natural, or mixed, or forced Convection.
His classroom teaching
includes fluid mechanics, fluid machinery (pumps and piping), heat
transfer, physics, computers, introductory computational fluid dynamics,
and microchip (semiconductor) fabrication.
